Missed all of last night's TV because we were down in Boston with a friend and one of H's employees watching our beloved Habs beat the Bruins 3-1. Very satisfying! Boston fans are quite mouthy before the games - and after, if the Bruins win - but when Montreal beats them, they get downright quiet afterward (by drunk Boston dude standards). Heh. We're seeing how long we can go without turning on the furnaces, so we've been having fires in the soapstone stove most days. There's a nor'easter coming that could make things interesting. If the power goes out, as it quite likely will, we'll be warm, at least, but there will be no TV or internet, which is almost as bad as no oxygen, you know ( Read more... )

Finished it before I went to bed last night. (As with the first one, I just skimmed the boring, game-levelly combat bits, since it's going to be a lot more entertaining to play them than to read Sean Williams describing playing them.)

The verdict: Some okay, a bit of good, and A WHOLE LOT OF EPIC WTF.
